Friendly staff but outdated and sparse accommodations.
We attended the Oak Lodge Maple Syrup Breakfast and Open House on February19, 2017. This was our first time here and we had a great time. The breakfast was good but even better was getting to visit the grounds. This would be a beautiful place for a wedding and reception. We enjoyed touring the church, the tavern, the sugar shack, the cabin and dining hall. Would have loved to see the lodge and pool. Seeing the water wheel as we entered set the stage for how lovely everything was going to be. In addition, the staff was so nice and friendly. Would highly recommend.
We went to Oak Lodge for a Pancake Breakfast and it is a phenomenal place. The syrup they sell is beyond delicious and the venue is simply stunning. It would be a great place to have a wedding. I was highly impressed and I hope to go back again!
I recently stayed at the Oak Lodge with my husband and family while visiting Fallingwater. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Matt. His attention to us on our trip was excellent. Nothing but friendly, kind and accommodating. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful! It's clean! Spacious and they have everything you could possibly think of: hot tub, indoor pool, hiking trails, swimming/fishing lake etc. The breakfast was excellently prepared by Matt. He also gave us a private tour of the village they built on the property, which would make an excellent venue for a wedding or other event. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway to enjoy nature or to pass a lovely night while visiting Fallingwater this is the place to stay.
We visited for a wedding venue consultation. The venue is wonderful and we were impressed with the quality of both the venue and presentation.
